Privacy Policy

CareAtlas, Inc. (“CareAtlas,” “we,” “us”) is a Texas corporation that provides technology and management services to health care organizations. This policy explains what information we collect through careatlas.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

What this policy covers — and what it does not

This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover:

  • Patient health information. CareAtlas handles protected health information (PHI) as a HIPAA business associate to independent, physician-owned medical practices, under written business associate agreements. That information is governed by those agreements and by each practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices — not by this policy. If you are a patient with questions about your health information, please contact your treating practice directly.
  • The HealthQuilt™ platform. Data our customers entrust to our platform is governed by the written agreements between CareAtlas and those customers.

Please do not submit health information through this Site. The Site’s forms are for business inquiries only.

Information we collect

  • Demo and contact requests — name, work email, organization, role, how you heard about us, and anything you include in a message.
  • Meeting scheduling — if you book time with us, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects your name, email, and selected time.
  • Newsletter — your email address, with double opt-in confirmation before you are subscribed.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Notice.

How we use information

We use this information to respond to your requests, schedule meetings you ask for, send you the newsletter you subscribed to, operate, secure, and improve the Site, and comply with law. We do not use it for anything else.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

  • Service providers under contract who process it on our behalf: Webflow (site hosting and forms), Calendly (scheduling), Beehiiv (newsletter delivery), Attio (customer relationship management)[, analytics provider — PENDING AMPLY TAG INVENTORY].
  • Professional advisors and authorities where required for legal compliance, or to protect our rights.
  • A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy’s commitments follow the data.

Cookies and tracking

The Site uses a small number of cookies, described in our Cookie Notice. The Site does not track visitors across third-party websites and does not use advertising or retargeting pixels. Because there is no cross-site tracking or sale of data to opt out of, the Site does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals.

Your health data

Reading our guides or blog does not make you a patient, and we treat your visit accordingly: we do not use your browsing of educational content to infer anything about your health, to build health profiles, or to target advertising. We do not collect “consumer health data” as defined by Washington’s My Health My Data Act or similar state laws through this Site.

Email choices

Every newsletter and marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs promptly (and in any event within 10 business days). We only add you to the newsletter after double opt-in. You can also write to us at the addresses below.

Your privacy rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of any sale or sharing (noting that we do not sell or share as described above). We extend these rights to all U.S. visitors, regardless of state of residence.

To make a request, email privacy@careatlas.com or write to the postal address below. We will verify your request (typically by confirming control of the email address on file), respond within 45 days, and never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as it is relevant to the purpose it was collected for and as required by law, and we delete it on verified request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for Site information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you have a security concern about the Site, contact privacy@careatlas.com.

Children

The Site is a business-to-business resource and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Audience

The Site is intended for audiences in the United States, and information collected through it is processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will say so conspicuously on this page.
